We offer remote workshops for you and your team.

We aim to offer self-paced training in the near future.

Each remote workshop is designed to help individuals or organisations at different points on their content design journey. They are made up of smaller workshop modules that create targeted all-day events. The smaller workshop modules are available separately and can be bolted together to create workshops tailored to your needs.

Introduction to content design (2-day workshop)

If you are embarking on your content design journey, this workshop is for you. It covers the basics of content design, from understanding your user needs to practical examples of how to structure and write content that is findable, understandable, and accessible. The workshop is structured in a show-then-do format.

You will leave with new skills, a digital workbook with next steps to consider, and a new insight into the value of content.

Embedding content design practices in your organisation (1-day workshop)

This workshop is designed to help you embed a content review cycle into your organisation. It covers governance, working with stakeholders, senior leadership buy-in, and the practical setup required to make content design part of your everyday workflow. Elements of this workshop are geared towards larger organisations with multiple stakeholder groups and large teams, but smaller teams and solo designers can still benefit from the principles covered.

This workshop comes with a two-week follow-up call for additional support.

Collaborative design sprints (2-day workshop)

This workshop takes participants through a condensed, intensive design sprint that targets a piece of problematic content and guides it through to completion. The workshop guides you through each stage of the design sprint, framing why it’s important and how to deliver it, whilst taking part in the design sprint yourself. You’ll leave the workshop having experienced a design sprint end-to-end, and with a framework to tailor the approach to your content issue at hand.

The content issue used in this workshop is fictional, but based on real-world examples. If your organisation has a content issue to work on, we can discuss whether it’s suitable for a design sprint workshop before booking.

Evidence-based approach with research, testing, and data(2-day workshop)

Designing useful content that meets your audience’s needs requires insight and understanding of their behaviours and mental models. This hands-on workshop is a whistlestop tour of various research, testing, and insight methods that we’ve found successful. It will explain how and when to use each method, and what potential next steps will be with the results.

You’ll be working with adapted and anonymised scenarios based on real content problems we have solved.
